August 22, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $11,200 to Jeff’s Place Bereavement Center. The grant funds will be used for facility capital improvements which include the purchase of new air conditioning equipment, energy-efficient ventilation upgrades, and enhancements to air quality systems.
August 15, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $2,000 to The Complete Puzzle. The grant funds will be used to support an arts and crafts activities program for autism families through collaboration with families and special needs providers.
August 8, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $25,000 to the Mother Brook Community Group. The grant funds will be used to support revitalization efforts in Dedham, including the commissioning of a bronze statue to honor and memorialize William B. Gould, a former slave who embodied the American dream. Gould served in the in the U.S. Navy during the Civil War and was considered an inspirational civic leader and respected pillar of the Dedham community.
July 28, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $10,000 to The Dedham Exchange. The grant funds will be used for capital improvements to preserve The Dedham Exchange’s historic building, making it safer and more accessible to customers, and to update its infrastructure for greater energy conservation.
