Dedham Savings Appoints Stephen Caputo To Commercial Lending Role

Stephen Caputo has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending at Dedham Savings, according to an announcement by Doug Shaw, Executive Vice President, Senior Lending Officer.

Stated Shaw, “We couldn’t be more pleased to have such an experienced lender like Steve join our growing Commercial team. His knowledge of the industry and of our local markets will serve us well as we continue to develop and expand our Commercial client base.”

STEPHEN CAPUTO

In his role as Senior Vice President, Caputo will focus on cultivating and managing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) client lending relationships. He will establish and support Small Business Lending initiatives and oversee a commercial lending portfolio to support and grow the Bank’s commercial base. Caputo has nearly 40 years of experience in financial services, having served in various leadership roles across multiple business units, including deposits, cash management, and commercial lending. In his commercial lending capacity, he has served for nearly 25 years as Senior Vice President, Director of C&I Lending and Cash Management at Cambridge Trust.

Caputo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College. In the community, he is an active supporter of multiple organizations including Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs and local Chambers of Commerce.  Caputo resides in Medfield with his wife.
