Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Beth Israel Deaconess Needham Expansion
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has made a grant to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Grant funds will be used to support the hospital’s strategic expansion plan to address the heightened demand for community-based care in Needham, and surrounding communities. The twelve-million-dollar expansion goal includes increasing the hospital’s physical footprint, with plans to acquire seven neighboring properties. The property acquisitions will support the construction of a state-of-the-art medical office building and help to repurpose the vacated space within the hospital to manage the increased inpatient volume driven by current healthcare trends.
