Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Fairbanks House Museum
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $10,000 to the Fairbanks House Museum in Dedham. Funds will be used for preservation work on the Fairbanks House, the oldest surviving wood building in North America. The restoration work will repair centuries-old wooden windows, frames, sills, and clapboards to prevent water and moisture from damaging the interior.
