Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Jeff’s Place Bereavement Center

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $11,200 to Jeff’s Place Bereavement Center. The grant funds will be used for facility capital improvements which include the purchase of new air conditioning equipment, energy-efficient ventilation upgrades, and enhancements to air quality systems.

ABOUT JEFF’S PLACE BEREAVEMENT CENTER

Jeff’s Place offers hope and healing in a supportive community for grieving children, teens, families, and individuals. Their mission is to normalize the grieving process, and provide free support groups, individual counseling, educational training and crisis intervention for grieving children, teens, and families.

About Dedham Savings Community Foundation

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which provide services to the communities that they serve. 

These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood.  Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations.  The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
