Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports St. John’s Nursery School
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $5,000 to St. John’s Nursery School. The grant award will supplement a larger fundraising initiative to purchase new developmental playground equipment for nursery school students.
ABOUT St. John’s Nursery School
St. John’s Nursery School located in Westwood, MA is a private, non-denominational preschool. For 50 years, the school’s mission has been to provide a safe, nurturing place for children to learn and grow. The curriculum is rich with language, social, cognitive, and motor development actives, and provides students with a diverse and creative learning experience.
About Dedham Savings Community Foundation
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which provide services to the communities that they serve.
These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood. Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations. The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
