Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports The Guild For Human Services
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation recently donated to The Guild for Human Services. The grant funds will be used to purchase an emergency generator for the Walpole House, a housing facility dedicated to assisting adults with autism, substantial intellectual disabilities, and medical requirements. The generator will play a crucial role in ensuring access to refrigeration for essential medications, ensure the safety and security of alarm systems, provide necessary heating for those with respiratory illnesses, and serve as a power source for electronic communication devices to aid non-speaking individuals

Incorporated in 1952, the mission of The Guild for Human Services is to educate, encourage and empower individuals with intellectual disabilities so they may achieve their full potential to lead high-quality lives and participate meaningfully in society.
ABOUT DEDHAM SAVINGS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which provide services to the communities that they serve. These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood. Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations. The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
