Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports The New England Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has made a grant to the New England Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America. Grant funds will support the “Wheelchair Repair Program for Veterans” to address a critical need within the veteran community. Many veteran members rely on wheelchairs as their primary means of mobility, but lack resources to repair or replace them when they malfunction. The Repair Program aims to provide no-cost wheelchair repairs to ensure that veterans have increased accessibility to functional wheelchairs, reduce the financial burden associated with wheelchair repairs, and provide improved quality of life and independence for veterans.
