Dedham Savings Promotes Members of Retail Banking Division

Robert Erasmi, Senior Vice President of Retail Banking at Dedham Savings, has announced promotions in the Retail Banking Division, including Tom Benson to Assistant Vice President, Norwood Branch Manager and Valleri Lovely-Cobb to Assistant Vice President, South Boston Branch Manager.

Stated Erasmi, “Dedham Savings has a history of recognizing and rewarding talented employees and promoting from within the Bank. Val and Tom are long-term employees of the Bank who exemplify the caring attitude and capable service that customers have come to count on at Dedham Savings.”

TOM BENSON

As Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for the Norwood Office, Tom Benson is responsible for staff management, sales growth, and branch administration.  With almost 30 years’ experience in the financial industry, he has worked nearly 15 of them at Dedham Savings, and has held positions in both the Retail and the Investment Divisions.  Benson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Stonehill College.  A native of Norwood, he is active in local sports, including 30 years coaching local youth baseball. He lives in Norwood with his wife and their three children.

VALLERI LOVELY-COBB

As Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for the South Boston office, Lovely-Cobb is responsible for sales initiatives, overseeing employees and continuing to expand the customer base at the Bank’s newest branch. 

She has managed this location since it opened in 2016 and is very familiar with the Southie neighborhood. During her 30 years at Dedham Savings, Lovely-Cobb has held multiple positions in the Retail Banking Division, working her way up from Teller. She volunteers her time in the local community and participates on many community and service teams within the Bank, including assisting with the Bank’s internal training program.
