Dedham Savings Promotes Members of Residential Lending Team

Laura Dorfman, Executive Vice President for Residential & Consumer Lending at Dedham Savings, announced several promotions in the Residential Lending Division including: Diane Hutchinson, First Vice President, Residential Lending Systems & Product Manager; Barbara Gniado, Vice President, Loan Operations Application Manager, Cathy Hamilton, Vice President, Commercial Loan Operations Manager; Susan Read, Vice President, Residential Loan Operations Manager; Kathleen DiFazio,  Assistant Vice President, Residential Lending Compliance Support Officer; Jillian Morley, Commercial Loan Operations Officer and Lindsay Pereira, Residential Loan Operations Officer.

Stated Dorfman, “I am so pleased to recognize the accomplishments of these dedicated employees. Dedham Savings has a history of promoting from within the Bank to reward the talents of employees like these and their commitment to our clients and community.”

DIANE HUTCHINSON 

As First Vice President, Residential Lending Systems & Product Manager, Hutchinson serves as mortgage system and construction loan portfolio administrator. She oversees all aspects of department technology implementations and updates. She also provides department training for new products and services and works closely with the Loan Operations team to ensure smooth communication and connectivity of all implementations and updates to the lending system. During her nearly 25 years at Dedham Savings, Hutchinson has served in multiple roles in lending and information technology. She lives in Stoughton with her husband and their three children.

BARBARA GNIADO

As Vice President, Loan Operations Application Manager, Gniado provides system and data guidance and support to the Loan Operations division, and assists Commercial Credit Administration with system technology and testing. She monitors third-party interfaces and report feeds and serves as the point of contact for bank staff requiring system support. Gniado also serves as team project manager and is responsible for department risk assessments and business continuity programs. She has been a dedicated Dedham Savings employee for over 30 years and lives in Dorchester with her husband and their three children.

CATHY HAMILTON

As Vice President, Commercial Loan Operations Manager Hamilton is responsible for managing the Commercial Loan Portfolio.  She leads and supports the newly formed  commercial team  and serves as the subject matter expert for the core banking system, often consulting with other departments on projects and reports. She received certification from Babson Corporate School for Commercial Lending  and works closely with the commercial lending originator group on systems implementations and quality control improvements.  She has been a dedicated Dedham Savings employee for close to 35 years and lives in West Bridgewater with her family. 

SUSAN READ 

As Vice President, Residential Loan Operations Manager, Read is responsible for loan portfolio oversight, including the production of loan documentation relating to the opening, servicing, and closing of all residential and consumer loans. Her team assures loans and agreements comply with Bank lending policies, procedures and applicable state and federal banking regulations. Read’s additional responsibilities include overseeing the collections and customer service team, with a strong concentration in staff development and training, as well as deployment of workflows for improved efficiencies that help the Bank maximize technology tools. During her more than 30 years at Dedham Savings, she has served in multiple roles of increasing responsibility across the Loan Operations Department. Originally from Dedham, she resides in Foxboro with her three children.   

KATHLEEN DIFAZIO

As Assistant Vice President, Residential Lending Compliance Support Officer, DiFazio works with the Residential Lending team in monitoring residential mortgage loans to ensure state and federal compliance, as well as compliance with bank policies. She conducts mortgage compliance training for the residential lending staff, manages internal and external audits, and monitors construction loan programs. In the local community, DiFazio coaches and volunteers for local youth sports programs and has served on several youth sports boards. She lives in Abington with her children and grandchildren.  

JILLIAN MORLEY  

As Commercial Loan Operations Officer, Morley manages the day-to-day operations of commercial loan servicing and provides support to Commercial Loan Officers and their administrative teams. Morley earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in Business & Finance and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude both from Sacred Heart University John Welch College of Business & Technology in Fairfield, CT.  Morley joined the bank in 2017 with over 10 years of branch management experience.  A past recipient of the Dedham Savings annual 1831 Ebenezer Burgess President’s Award, which recognizes employee volunteerism and community spirit, Morley is a dedicated supporter of many charitable organizations and volunteers on several boards and foundations in the community. She lives in Walpole with her husband, Jason.   

LINDSAY PEREIRA

As Residential Loan Operations Officer, Pereira provides supports all Residential Loan Operations department projects and oversees the Residential Operations team. Pereira began working at the bank in 2014 in the Deposit Operations department before transitioning to the Loan Operations team. She holds a dual associate degree from Bristol Community College and participates in various bank community events such as Walk to End Alzheimer’s,  Sharon Day, and the Dedham Flag Day Parade.
