Laura Dorfman, Executive Vice President at Dedham Savings, appointed to Needham Historical Commission
On September 10, 2019 at the regular meeting of the Needham Board of Selectmen, Laura Dorfman, Executive Vice President of Residential & Consumer Lending at Dedham Savings, was appointed to the Needham Historical Commission.
Stated Dorfman, “I’m so honored to have been asked to join the Needham Historical Commission. It’s my hope that my years of involvement in the local real estate market will give me a solid foundation for providing relevant input to the commission in its important preservation work.”
Dorfman has over 25 years of residential lending and construction loan management experience at community banks in eastern Massachusetts and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Residential & Consumer Lending at Dedham Savings. She lives in Needham with her husband and daughter.
About the Needham Historical Commission
The Historical Commission was created to ensure the preservation, protection, and development of the historical assets that are the visible evidence of the Town of Needham’s history. The commission conducts research to identify places of historic or archeological value and communicates with the Select Board about recommendations as to the whether an asset should be certified as an historical or archeological landmark.
